Railways is now going to modify the cancellation policy . From 1st March railway will not provide any refund on non-traveled ticket. That means you cannot claim any refund when you have not traveled on that ticket. Earlier you have option to file a TDR and get the refund but now railways is now in mood to change the policy.There will be no partial refund for person who has not traveled on group ticket on single PNR.
This rule will surely help to control black marketing of ticket by touts but at the same time this will add burden to passenger pocket.
